Establishment of MVP Bedrijfsrevisoren
MVP was established by Jan Moens on 6 June 1994 as an audit firm. He was previously operating as an auditor at KPMG, as finance manager at ONTEX, and as an audit partner at Van Geet, Derick & C° Bedrijfsrevisoren.

Gradual growth and expansion
After fast growth in both accountancy and audit activities in the initial years, the fundaments of the office were strengthened by the recruitment of Geert Van Peteghem at the end of 1997 He is an auditor and had built up experience as an auditor at Van Geet, Derick & C° Bedrijfsrevisoren and at Andersen. In 2000 the company decided to invest in its own office building in Aalst. The office has continued to evolve as regards turnover, number of employees and services offered mainly due to internal growth.

Establishment of MVP Accountants & Belastingconsulenten
Within the context of the deontological obligations of the IBR, in October 2004 the accountancy department was transferred to BVBA MVP ACCOUNTANTS EN BELASTINGCONSULENTEN under the leadership of GÜNTHER VAN GYSEGEM and HEIDI VAN DE KERCKHOVE.

Opening of additional offices in Zele, Oostkamp and Antwerp
As a part of office regionalisation, in October 2007 an office was opened in Zele with the integration of the activities of Manuella De Mol, an accountant in the region. On 1/4/10 this office moved to a new and larger building in Zele.
In 2008 an office was openend in Oostkamp and in 2010 a new office was opened in Antwerp.

Establishment of MVP Corporate & Finance
In 2008 BVBA MVP Corporate & Finance was established with the purpose of accommodating activities concerning acquisitions, take-overs and company restructuring. This company also offers tax/legal and financial advice on private assets. To also sufficiently support this service from a legal perspective, a new partner Kristof De Rijcker was recruited. He is a tax and legal advisor, previously active in several functions within a bank: legal advisor, corporate banker and private banker.

Entry into the BKR International network
On 1/6/10 the office became an independent member of BKR International, a worldwide network of independent accountants, company auditors and advisors. This enables clients to enjoy an even better service with their international expansion or transactions.
